Pascale began practicing yoga during her first year of university and since then, her yoga practice has blossomed into a significant part of her life. She has recently moved to Terrace from Nova Scotia and is excited to be joining the Terrace Yoga Studio community!

She also holds a degree in Kinesiology and her master’s in Occupational Therapy, which translates to a well-versed knowledge of the body while considering a holistic approach.Pascale’s yoga style of choice is vinyasa, she loves creating gentle and thoughtful flows. MaKailey is new to Terrace, and just moved here from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. For many years she dabbled off and on with yoga, but it wasn’t until the 2020 pandemic that she really turned to yoga for balance, consistency, and deep inner healing. MaKailey found her practice and the yoga community to be tremendously supportive while navigating life’s challenges and unlearning self-limiting beliefs. Learning how to cultivate unconditional self-compassion has brought ease into her life, as this self-compassion and patience extends out into every facet of life, especially relationships. With a career background in trauma-informed Child and Youth Care and adult mental health programming, she felt becoming a yoga teacher would be another way to serve the community and share healthy ways of coping.
In July 2023, MaKailey left her position as a community outreach worker in Nova Scotia to pursue yoga teacher training in Bali, Indonesia. An amazing cultural immersion opportunity, she learned from knowledgeable instructors about the ancient origins of yogic practices and how they can help us feel like our best most connected selves, physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Once she returned home to Canada she packed up and moved out to Terrace to be close to her partner’s family and is so grateful to feel welcomed and embraced here. MaKailey brings creative sequencing, playful energy, and space for exploration to her classes so you can deepen your practice in a way that feels best to you. She welcomes students of all experience levels and abilities and hopes to see you in class soon.

My journey and desire to teach began during the pandemic. My love for fitness in many forms over the years made me branch into spin. I am a certified spin instructor with both Schwinn and Authentic Instructor Training (AIT).
I believe fitness can be anything you want it to be and that is does not need to be something you HAVE to do, but rather something you WANT to do. I love music, and use the energy it creates to build classes that people look forward to showing up to. I want to give you permission to have fun while working out, all while getting hooked on the feeling of leaving the bike feeling better than when you got on it.
My hope is the good music, a great sweat, and even better company is what will drive you into wanting to be active and my goal as an instructor is to help you push yourself a little further each class.
Fitness isn’t a one size fits all, we are all on our own fitness journey and I look forward to you letting me be the one to help you on yours!
Janice is certified in group fitness instruction, active aging, and aquafit. Janice is shackled to a desk for long hours, so fitness instruction frees her from day-job confinements. Also, she enjoys working out with people and likes people in general.
When not working at a computer or teaching fitness, Janice consumes books, papers, and podcasts on fitness, physiology, and health so that she can apply exercise research to herown exercise and include interesting stuff in her classes.
I am so excited to join the EVOLVE team as a new spin instructor. I fell in love with the energy of indoor cycling classes while living in Edmonton and have dreamed of instructing ever since. I recently completed my indoor cycling certification with AIT Inc. and can’t wait to get started in the studio.
An emergency room nurse and outdoor enthusiast living in Terrace with my young family. Over the past decade, spin classes have been my go-to outlet for physical and mental rejuvenation. With a passion for curated playlists and themed rides, I aim to create an energizing and inclusive atmosphere in the spin room. My classes emphasize high-intensity exercise, pushing you to your physical and mental limits. No choreography involved.

Lindsay fell in love with Terrace 10 years ago and has never looked back. She is a mother to two kind, spicy and wild children. At the beginning of 2024 she started her journey to becoming a spin instructor and has not looked back. Her biggest goal in life and spin training is creating a safe space for confidence to grow, strength to improve and friendships to flourish.
She prides herself on creating playlists that make you want to party and rides that will keep you coming back for more. She will forever be grateful to every person who climbs onto that bike and pushes themselves to levels they didn’t think they could. Let’s get it Terrace!
